Assistant Financial Controller - Venn Group : Job Details

Venn Group are currently partnering with an ambitious Housing Association who are looking to recruit for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team.

Job title: Assistant Financial Controller

Location: Buckinghamshire

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

• Prepare annual Statutory accounts
• Ensuring Balance sheet reconciliation are accurate and up to date
• Oversee the preparation of cash flows
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Liaise with HMRC and tax advisors to ensure tax compliance
• Ensure annual rent and service charge increased and submitted to board for approval

Systems/ Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or Equivalent)
• Able to demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Previous experience in Social Housing background desired
