Job Description :

Butler Rose is collaborating with a thriving global business based in Oxfordshire. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to enhance the Finance Departments capabilities, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

This role also involves providing crucial support by furnishing pertinent information for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will step into the Financial Controllers shoes to manage the Finance Department in their absence. The succesful candidate must showcase manufacturing exposure. Responsibilities:* Ensure compliance with SOX and uphold procedural standards. * Prepare Periodic, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Packs. * Assist in developing the Business Plan and Quarterly Forecasts, with specific focus on labour. * Analyse variances and provide insightful explanations. * Submit monthly Group KPIs with precision. * Collaborate with department heads to enhance data capture for the KPI process. * Investigate, review, and correct variances to the business plan and forecast. * Take ownership of the Period End Accounts process. * Review Weekly Cash Flow Forecasts and Currency Cash Flow Forecasts. * Manage Working Capital Levels and Cash Flow to agreed targets. * Prepare Statutory and Tax Accounts. * Facilitate Internal and External Audits. * Understand the functions and tasks of the Financial Department for effective management in the absence of the Financial Controller. * Oversee day-to-day operations of the department and staff in the Financial Controllers absence. * Utilise the escalation procedure for issue resolution. * Implement solutions to resolve queries. Skills:

Minimum qualification as a Finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA or fully qualifiedProven ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills. Experience in staff management. Strong attention to detail. Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive under pressure. Self-motivated and focused with a flexible attitude. Strong team player. Good analytical skills. Proficient in following formal procedures. Observant and able to identify workflow risks and bottlenecks.
