We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join a leading logistics contract provider for a 12 month contract with the potential for extension. This role is hybrid based position, and requires a dedicated professional to assist in the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts within set deadlines. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and high-energy team. Great communication skills is essential for this position.

• Preparing weekly financial reports to ensure accurate tracking of the company’s financial status.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of forecasts and budgets to aid strategic planning.
• Assisting in the completion of period reviews and analysis to understand financial trends.
• Ensuring supplier activity is reconciled and accounted for to maintain accurate financial records.
• Identifying areas of opportunity and risk, highlighting trends to inform decision-making processes.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
• Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel, Word, and Oracle.
• High level of literacy and numeracy to manage financial documentation.
• A customer-centric approach to finance and business operations to align financial management with customer needs.
• An operations background is preferred but not essential, indicating a practical understanding of business processes.
