Description

• Manage and oversee the credit control processes to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and account reconciliation.
• Monitor and report on aged debt and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Assist in implementing improvements to credit control procedures and systems.
• Respond promptly to client queries relating to invoices and payments.
• Support the accounting & finance department with ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful applicant should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or a related financial role within professional services.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts effectively.
