Role Title: Assistant Conveyancer,Salary: £24,000 - £26,000,Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire,About the Role:We're working with a respected and growing full-service law firm in Leeds, and they're looking to welcome an experienced assistant conveyancer to their team. You'll play a key role in supporting a busy residential property department, working on a range of files and helping to keep transactions moving smoothly. This is a fantastic next step if you're already working in conveyancing and want to build on your experience in a supportive and well-structured environment. What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the smooth progression of residential property transactions from start to finish
• Carrying out detailed property searches, drafting legal documents, and reviewing contracts
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
• Preparing documentation for exchange and completion
• Handling post-completion tasks including Land Registry applications and redemption statements
• Helping resolve file queries and identifying missing documents
• Assisting colleagues with more complex transactions where needed

What We're Looking For:

• At least 12 months' hands-on conveyancing experience in a law firm or similar setting
• Solid understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant documentation
• A confident communicator who can deal with clients and third parties professionally
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in residential property work
• Comfortable managing your workload with minimal supervision
