Based in Leeds, we are seeking a motivated and creative Assistant Buyer to join our dynamic team on a temporary to permananet contract!
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000
Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Buyer, you will be at the heart of our product development process. Your contributions will significantly impact our seasonal ranges and customer offerings. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Strategy Development: Plan, design, and source a commercial range of products while managing relationships with a structured supplier base for our wholesale markets.
- Product Presentation: Present your innovative ranges and projects to senior management and the sales team, ensuring alignment ahead of customer meetings.
- Critical Path Management: Oversee the product development process and bulk orders, ensuring deadlines are met with precision.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with QA and design teams to achieve the best garment fit and overall product quality.
- Seasonal Launches: Create seasonal product boards and CAD booklets for launches, showcasing our exciting new lines.
- Supplier Negotiation: Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers while negotiating the best prices without compromising quality.
- Market Insight: Understand customer needs and industry trends to maximise profits and deliver commercially viable ranges.
- Sales Support: Work hand-in-hand with sales teams to identify new opportunities and develop stock proposals.
