Assistant Audit & Accounts Manager - AGILE/FLEXIBLE WORK PATTERN OFFERED (can be a combination of office and home-based) and can consider part-time 4 days/weekGoldhawk Associates are supporting a client looking to appoint an Assistant Audit & Accounts Manager. Our client is a prestigious firm of accountants based on the Kent/Sussex border, they are an innovative firm with a unique ethos. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Managers and you will provide a range of services including audits, accounts, taxation, and other business services.Ideally, you will be ACA qualified or nearing the end of your studies with at least two/three years' experience within the audit and accountancy field. Full training and development are offered and support with studies to then progress is encouraged and supported.You will be working in a team and will be responsible for audit and accountancy support for their client base with an approximate ratio of 80% audit; 20% accounting services depending on the workload. Duties will include:-Manage the audit process whilst on-site, including managing the audit team-Carry out audit planning with the audit team-Communicate with Client Managers to inform them of budget or timescale issues-Manage a portfolio of varied clients-Manage budgets and workflow-Accounts production for companies, LLP's and charities-Liaising with other departments for connected services such as personal tax returns, forms P11D, and company secretarial mattersThis is a great opportunity to join a modern, professional, progressive firm of Accountants.
