Job Purpose

Swiss Time Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration & Distribution Manager to lead and inspire a diverse team across our administration and distribution functions. This pivotal role ensures operational excellence, fosters a culture of trust and transparency, and drives performance aligned with business and financial goals. You will be responsible for maintaining efficient workflows, managing stakeholder relationships, and upholding the high standards that define STS.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Coach, develop, and motivate managers to enhance leadership capabilities and team performance.
  • Lead by example, promoting collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Resolve employee disputes with empathy, fostering a culture of trust and wellbeing.

People Planning

  • Develop and maintain a strategic people plan to support talent development and workforce resilience.
  • Ensure optimal team coverage within budgeted FTE across seasonal and operational needs.
  • Equip teams with the skills and flexibility to meet short- and long-term business goals.

Operational Compliance

  • Uphold company policies and procedures to protect staff, customers, and property.
  • Ensure adherence to brand contracts and regulatory requirements across all teams.

Operational Management

  • Drive operational excellence through effective process management and regular performance reviews.
  • Align operational practices with financial goals and business direction.

Commercial & Performance Focus

  • Use data-driven insights to plan and prioritise, especially regarding watch parts and distribution needs.
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager, including pricing decisions and P&L oversight.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build strong professional relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, delivering both positive and challenging messages.
  • Ensure outcomes are agreed upon, actionable, and completed.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in administration and management roles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing performance.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and evaluation principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
