An established consultancy is seeking an Assistant Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a background in acoustics or a related discipline to gain hands-on experience in consultancy, supporting a wide range of building acoustics and environmental noise projects.

As an Assistant Acoustic Consultant, you will work closely with senior colleagues on the delivery of site surveys, acoustic modelling, and technical reporting. You will gain exposure to high-profile projects in the commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors, while developing the practical and theoretical skills needed for a long-term career in acoustics.

Duties for the role of Assistant Acoustic Consultant include:

• Assisting with environmental noise and building acoustics surveys

• Supporting noise and vibration modelling using specialist software

• Helping to prepare detailed technical reports under supervision

• Attending site visits and client meetings with senior staff

• Contributing to project delivery across multiple sectors

Skills and experience required for the role of Assistant Acoustic Consultant:

• Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or related subject

• 1+ years' experience in acoustics (placement or consultancy) desirable

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Enthusiastic, organised, and willing to learn

• Full UK driving licence preferred
