You will be working with a busy, buzzy, friendly and hardworking team.  This is a brilliant opportunity to work with an established, experienced finance team, where you can gain a wealth of experience that will support your finance career.  This is a temporary job with the opportunity to go permanent. This will be a fully office based role in Northampton. If you love being part of a team and you LOVE Excel we want to hear from you.  You must have experience at a similar level to be considered.If you do go permanent, there is the potential for study support towards AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA.  This role will suit a graduate/ a current AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA studier, or a non-studier/ QBE (qualified by experience).      The offices are easy to get to via both car and public transport with easy onsite parkingAssistant Accountant – AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience). The successful candidate will have work experience at a similar level to the duties below -Job duties include:

• Reconciliations
• Accruals
• Prepayments
• Intrastats
• Variance analysis
• Fixed asset register
• Journals
• Month end reporting
• Producing P&L reports
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysing variants
• Making suggestions based on your analysis
• Working with complex Excel Spreadsheets

Person:

• AAT Qualified/ Studier / Finance & Accounting BA/ BSc Graduate/ CIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience) with experience at a similar level to the job duties above
• Looking to progress your career or remain at this level, both options are possible in this role
• Confident on Excel including Pivot tables, V-lookups and SUM IF’s
• Good communicator
• Able to work on your own initiative
