Guided by their values, they put people at the heart of everything they do – and now they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their supportive Finance team.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with our Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in supporting the month-end process and wider finance function. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments

  • Reconciling control accounts and bank accounts

  • Assisting with budget monitoring and variance analysis

  • Supporting the production of financial reports for managers and stakeholders

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with audit and compliance requirements

  • Providing day-to-day support across the finance team as required

What we’re looking for:
  • A degree in Accounting & Finance or part-qualified AAT with ambitions to continue studies

  • Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail

  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn

  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel and finance systems

  • A values-driven team player who is passionate about making a difference
