Assistant Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Here at Reed Practice we are excited to have been engaged by an up and coming local Norwich accountancy firm, to assist with the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant level individual, probably studying AAT.

These are exciting times for our client as this is a position created due to growth, from an influx of new clients gained from referrals and direct sources.  

Reporting to the Practice Manager the role will involve –

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies from a wide range of sectors and varying in size.
• Completing associated corporate and personal tax returns.
• Processing and submitting VAT returns, dealing with queries effectively from and to HMRC.
• Supporting clients with MTD compliance
• Backing up senior accountants on adhoc projects

Our client needs someone to hit the ground running but also happy to train and develop, so you can grow as they do.  With this in mind we ask that applicants have a least one years’ experience providing accounting and tax preparation services in an accounting firm to UK regulations.

Unfortunately our client is not registered for skilled worker visa sponsorship so only those with no restrictions to work in the UK can apply.

You will be studying AAT – we will happily speak to those at level 2 with experience, and above.
