Job Title: Temporary Assistant Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent following a team restructure. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations across 25–50 accounts.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ICP invoicing.
• Support cash and treasury operations, liaising with our Head Office in Italy to manage Euro and GBP accounts.
• Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and control.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to support ongoing changes and improvements within the finance function.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journals in SAP.
• Part qualified CIMA, ACCA or any other chartered accounting qualifications
• Experience working in a multinational company with multi-currency exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and balance sheet management.
• Comfortable working with Euro and GBP accounts.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
