We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a small finance team in Mold. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from our office and from home.

Job role:

• Assist in the preparation and interpretation of daily, weekly, and monthly site KPIs.
• Support product costing for all new products and investigate anomalies in existing costings identified during variance reviews.
• Provide input into weekly site forecast updates.
• Analyse costs down to gross margin vs forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities for the operational team to address.
• Drive process improvements across finance and operations.
• Undertake ad hoc analysis as required by the Management Accountant and wider finance team.
• Banking: Daily posting, daily bank reconciliation, and updating the daily cashflow sheet.
• Manage purchase ledger activities.
• Oversee debtors management.
• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
