?? Job Title: Interim Assistant Management Accountant?? Location: Godalming (office based - must be able to drive to site and to drive to 2 or 3 off site visits during the 3 months)?? Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week?? Start Date: Ideally 26th August, no later than 1st September?? Contract Type: Temporary (approx. 3 months)?? Pay Rate: £150 – £187 per day (Umbrella)

We’re looking for a skilled Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join my clients finance team for approximately three months. This is a hands-on role based at their head office, supporting a busy and complex finance function.  You will need to go through an enhanced DBS screening for this role

• Manage billing and sales ledger in a high-volume, complex environment
• Handle deferred and accrued income recognition
• Support credit control activities
• Perform month-end tasks, including:
  • Calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments
  • Posting of payroll journals (payroll is run separately)
  • Bank reconciliations
• Assist with purchase ledger tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate double-entry bookkeeping including trial balance

• Proven experience in a similar finance role
• Strong understanding of:
  • Double-entry accounting
  • Trial balance
  • Complex billing
  • Deferred and accrued revenue
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Payroll journals
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Must be a driver due to office location
