Assistant Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

Company

This is a fast-growing global IT business based in central London. They collaborate with major global brands to enhance online product experiences and drive performance across e-commerce platforms.

Due to increased expansion, they are now looking to hire a new position as an Assistant Accountant, to join their close-knit finance team on a hybrid working basis.

Role

The Assistant Accountant for this exciting IT business based in London, will work closely with the Finance Manager in supporting on day-to-day management of finance operations. They will take on a number of key duties including:

• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses with accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions on the internal system, Dynamics.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with petty cash management and VAT Returns.
• Support month end reporting including accruals & prepayments.
• Liaise with internal and external teams/partners to resolve queries.
• Provide general support to the finance department as and when needed.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Assistant Accountant position, should have the following attributes:

• 4+ years of experience within a well-rounded Accounts Assistant position.
• Strong experience in owning AP and AR processes.
• Good double-entry knowledge (debits & credits, trial balance etc.)
• Studying towards AAT or similar.
• Confident with Excel formulas.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Dynamics would be advantageous.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
