Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am -5pm. The state of the art offices are based in Glasgow city centre and the organisation offers hybrid working-4 days in office and 1 day from home. The organisation is easily accessible by public transport.

Your new role

As Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of responsibilities. The organisation is within the property management sector and your duties will include but will not be limited to; maintaining accurate lease and budget data, managing service charge reconciliations, and processing tenant recharges. You'll liaise regularly with surveyors and tenants to resolve queries, ensuring seamless financial and operational processes.

What you'll need to succeedThe hiring manager is ideally seeking candidates with understanding of commercial leases and experience with service charge reconciliations & budgeting. You should have strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be a clear communicator and able to work independently whilst operating as part of a team. What you'll get in return
