Assistant Accountant - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

Are you looking for a role where you can be involved in a variety of duties and progress long term?  CMA are partnering with a fast growth construction business based in Havant on an exclusive basis to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant.  The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller.What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Daily postings to the bank.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Balance sheet reconciliation. 
• Ownership of credit control function.
• Assisting with purchase ledger.
• Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals.
• Adhoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
• Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
