Assistant Accountant - Chase and Holland Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Assistant Accountant –Louth– up to £30,000Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a well-established group of companies in Louth who are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support with the management and financial accounts preparation for three sites in Louth, Boston and Grantham. This is a profitable business that has a passion for what they do. The role is initially a minimum 12 month contract with the chance of long term down the line due to potential future growth. Assistant Accountant key responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts for three divisions
• Preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments
• Fixed asset register
• Nominal, WIP and stock reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Weekly profitability forecasting for each site
• KPIs and MI reporting monthly
• Payroll and intercompany accounts

Requirements:My client is keen to find someone who is:

• AAT qualified as a minimum or actively studying early to mid-stages CIMA/ACCA
• Good foundations in an all-round accounts role covering some of the above duties and also be looking for a role and company you can grow within
• Confident on excel to produce various management information reports for external parties to tight deadlines
• Team player and ability to work in a close knit team
