Assistant Accountant - IPS Group : Job Details

We are proud to be supporting a respected education provider in their search for an AAT Qualified Accountant to support the Head of Finance.This role would suit an AAT Level 4 qualified accountant with a foundation of month end experience looking to join a well-established organisation with excellent benefits.Your main duties will be:

• Undertake general finance responsibilities; data inputting, producing analysis and ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel and other tasks as required by the Head of Finance
• Collate information required by internal and external stakeholders, including Auditors, Insurance Brokers and Funding providers
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register including additions, disposals and undertake inventory/asset checks.
• Assist with the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, preparing analyses and reports as required.
• Help produce the month end accounts by assisting with the month end routines including calculation of prepayments and accruals and accurate recharging of costs.
• Maintain the accuracy of the Finance system ensuring it is correctly updated for new starters and leavers and appropriate system training has been delivered.

The Offering:

• Salary: £30,500 - £33,500
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas close
• Enhanced Pension Contribution - up to 16.4%
• Hybrid working (3 days at their site in LS2)
