Our client is actively seeking an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their small accounts team and grow alongside the business. As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will collaborate closely with an experienced Finance Manager at their beautiful office in Worcester, contributing to the daily operations of their business. This role promises fantastic training under a manager that has been in your shoes and will allow you to become a Management Accountant in the future.

Working alongside the Finance Manager your responsibilities will encompass managing the sales and purchase ledger, overseeing invoicing, and adeptly handling credit follow-ups. You will excel in meticulous bank and supplier statement reconciliations, progressing to handling accrued and prepaid income entries. As you master the essentials, you'll further engage in the management accounts pack, delving into fixed assets, stock management, and more.

Skills required

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a keen appetite for learning and assuming new responsibilities.
• Ideally, possess AAT qualifications, coupled with foundational knowledge of entry-level accounts, and a drive to pursue ACCA/CIMA studies.
• Confident interpersonal skills to thrive within an engaging office environment characterised by vibrant personalities.
• Prior experience in processing accruals and prepayments, establishing a solid foundation to build upon.
