They are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Private Banker to support Banking Directors and Associate Banking Directors in effectively managing their designated Client Portfolios, focusing on delivering exceptional service, while handling daily administrative tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivating and maintaining robust client relationships through both face-to-face and virtual interactions.
  • Managing day-to-day administrative functions, such as processing payments, facilitating account openings, and addressing commercial client needs.
  • Assisting in compiling internal credit applications and monitoring existing borrowings in line with Company Credit policies.
  • Contributing to ad-hoc business projects, including the launch of new products.
  • Employing adept questioning and listening techniques to discern client requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate client records in compliance with data protection regulations, with particular attention to Anti Money Laundering measures for complex corporate clients.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments to ensure exceptional client service and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Timely completion of mandatory eLearning modules, readings, and assigned training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS:

  • Ideally educated to a UK degree level or equivalent.
  • Foundational understanding of banking operations, commercial environments, and factors impacting client bases.
  • Strong dedication to providing outstanding client service, fostering teamwork, and advancing within a forward-thinking bank.
  • Proficiency in building and nurturing relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

In return there is a highly competitive salary and benefits package of c £45,000 and for the right individual training and career progression will be assured.

Salary : 40000 - 45000
