Assembly Operative - Candidate Source Ltd : Job Details

A growing business is seeking reliable and hardworking Assembly Operatives to join a team within a clean and modern production facility. Along with a salary of £12.57 per hour for day shifts & £13.75 per hour for night shifts, you will receive a range of benefits including:

• Performance incentives: Consistent over-performance against targets can increase the basic pay rate up to £14.30 per hour (days) and £15.48 per hour (nights).

Working hours:

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 (42.5 hours per week)
• Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00–07:00 (42.5 hours per week)
• Training requirement: All new starters must complete up to 4 weeks on the day shift before moving onto fixed nights.

What you’ll be doing as Assembly Operative:This role involves assembling high-quality timber products for the construction industry, working to set targets, and using a range of hand tools. • Assemble timber products to specification for use in the construction sector.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively, including hammers and nail guns.

We’re looking for an Assembly Operative with:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or construction (preferred but not essential).
• Confidence in using hand tools such as hammers and nail guns.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
• Willingness to complete training on day shifts before moving to fixed nights (if applicable).
