Asbestos Surveyor - Reed : Job Details

We are looking for a skilled Asbestos Surveyor to join our client's team. This role entails comprehensive duties in asbestos surveying and air quality monitoring, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant asbestos legislation and deliver exceptional service to our clients, maintaining safety and regulatory standards at all times.

• Conduct various asbestos surveys, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
• Perform air monitoring and fibre counting tasks.
• Evaluate contractors’ remediation efforts, approving successful removals or rejecting unsatisfactory ones.
• Adhere to all asbestos-related legislation and guidelines, such as those from HSE and the construction sector.
• Maintain personal QHSE documentation and comply with internal assurance processes.
• Offer professional and courteous service to clients, resolving queries and providing expert advice and interpretations as required.

• Hold BOHS P402, P403, and P404, equivalent RSPH qualifications, or a Certificate of Competence.
• Familiarity with HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide and HSG:264 The Survey Guide.
• Possess a full UK driving licence (manual).

• Salary of £33K-£37K (negotiable and dependant on experience)
