The Role

As an Art & Photography Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE Art and Photography
• Encourage students to develop technical skills and creative expression in both traditional and digital media
• Use varied teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with different abilities and interests
• Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions
• Support extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and photography projects

Person Specification / Requirements

To succeed, you will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Art and Photography in a secondary school setting
• Be confident delivering practical and theory lessons that inspire creativity
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
