Art & Design/Photography Lecturer

We are seeking a qualified Art & Design/Photography Lecturer to join our clients educational team. This role requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in teaching Art and Design as well as Photography, with experience in BTEC and UAL assessments. The ideal candidate will be a certified teacher, ready to handle both teaching and administrative responsibilities effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Art and Design and Photography to students at BTEC levels 1-3 and UAL Level 3.
- Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to facilitate student learning and development.
- Complete all administrative tasks associated with teaching, including the timely completion of registers and adherence to safeguarding policies.
- Employ a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles, ensuring an inclusive educational environment.
- Maintain a high level of organisation, reliability, and punctuality in managing teaching and non-teaching hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified teacher with one of the following: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Proven experience teaching Art and Design and Photography.
- Experienced in conducting assessments for BTEC levels 1-3 and UAL Level 3.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage both teaching and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Commitment to safeguarding best practices in all working procedures.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles.
