Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking company, who are looking for a Contracts Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands.
Covering: The Midlands(Buckinghamshire, Cotswolds, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Birmingham, Nottingham and surrounding).
Key responsibilities:
- Managing existing customer relationships.
- Prospecting, building and developing new business.
- Selling Kitchens into the contracts market.
- Working closely with housing and high-rise developers within the private market.
- Building strong business relationships.
- Travelling to head office every 3-6 months for sales meetings.
- Working closely with the design team to understand customer brief.
- Full involvement with key members of the contracts department including; managers, customer care and the design team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record within field sales - selling kitchens into private developers.
- Experience of dealing with Regional House Builders, Major Projects, House Building Contractors, High-Rise Developers or Housing Association.
- Sales Account Management experience.
- Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
- Strong network and relationships within the contract market.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive for success.
- Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.
- Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Must hold a valid and clean driving licence.
- Flexible with business travel requirements.
