Area Sales Manager - Dawsongroup plc : Job Details

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager with experience in the Industrial Plant Industry to join our new business unit at Dawsongroup emc.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to identify and secure both long and short-term rentals of our plant product range, as well as other products and services within a specific region (North of England).

Area Sales Manager responsibilities

• Researching information on potential customers

• Monitoring existing customers' usage

• Establishing regular contact with decision makers to optimise opportunities through tenders, site surveys, and direct sales

• Visiting recognized suppliers, manufacturers, and service agents to encourage more rentals and liaising on possible joint inquiries

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Branch staff and customers, keeping them informed of changes and developments in our products and services

Area Sales Manager Requirements

• Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the plant industry and equipment

• Have a proven sales background within the plant industry and be an experienced negotiator with excellent face-to-face selling skills

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation
