Job Description :
Area Sales Manager is sought to join this international polymer manufacturer and market leader.  A global company operating in 170 locations worldwide who supply to a range of industries including construction, industrial and automotive industries.They are looking for an experienced sales professional to generate new business opportunities for their District Heating division, pre-insulated pipes and associated products to the community and district heating network business across London and the South East including Northern Home Counties, Essex, East Anglia.As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Taking a hybrid approach, working out of your home and the London hub
  • Achieving sales and profitability targets through financial, individual, KPI targets
  • Ensuring regular planning and reporting through the Company’s CRM system
  • Dealing with key decision makers within Specifiers, Mechanical & Civil Contractors, and Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)
The successful Area Sales Manager will have the following key skills and experience:
  • Experience of selling insulated pipework is an advantage, district heating products or similar, HVAC products, drainage pipework etc
  • Knowledge of Heat Interface Units or CHP, Heat Source pumps, Low Carbon Heating is advantageous
  • Experience of selling to Specifiers, M&E Contractors, Merchants / Wholesalers, utility companies and ESCOs
  • Technical sales experience is essential
  • A strong track record of building relationships with M&E Contractors and supplying via merchants / wholesalers
  • Some of your time will also be spent on construction site with contractors, utility services
  • Experienced in performing CPD technical presentations
  • Good working knowledge of the district heating / heat network market
  • Well organised with a structured approach
  • Excellent communication skills
