Location: West Midlands (Shrewsbury or Birmingham office location)

Salary: £35-40,000 DOE

Daily Duties:

  • Develop architectural designs from client briefs in line with the RIBA Plan of Work
  • Create effective, sustainable design solutions
  • Prepare compliant designs adhering to UK Construction Law and relevant standards
  • Advise on material selection and prepare specifications using NBS Masters
  • Coordinate pre-construction information and statutory submissions (Planning, Building Regulations, etc.)
  • Attend client and consultant meetings and workshops
  • Participate in project reviews and coordination sessions
  • Maintain design risk registers and follow document control protocols

Ideal Candidate:

  • ARB registered Architect
  • Strong design and visualisation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience communicating concepts through drawings, models, and presentations
  • Skilled in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant tools
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and knowledge of construction regulations
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development
