Location: North Hampshire

Salary: £36-42,000 DOE

A well-established, RIBA-chartered architectural practice based in North Hampshire is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join its collaborative studio. With a strong design ethos and a portfolio spanning education, private residential, heritage, commercial, and community sectors, the practice is known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality architecture with a strong emphasis on sustainability, detailing, and context-sensitive design. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including sensitive heritage and conservation work, as well as innovative new-build schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support architectural projects from concept through to completion
  • Develop design proposals, technical drawings, and visualisations using Revit, AutoCAD, and rendering software (e.g. Enscape, Twinmotion)
  • Prepare planning applications, tender packages, and construction documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies
  • Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and monitor construction progress
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of both contemporary and heritage-led schemes
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning policy

The Ideal Candidate

  • ARB-registered Architect with several years of post-Part 3 UK experience
  • Demonstrable experience in relevant sectors such as education, residential, and heritage/conservation
  • Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and visualisation software
  • Confident producing technical details and coordinating drawing packages
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills
  • A proactive, organised, and professional approach to project work
  • Experience working with listed buildings and in conservation areas is highly desirable
