We are proud to be partnering with a specialist client at the forefront of laboratory innovation, who is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Specialist to join their growing European team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in chemistry or life sciences—ideally holding a PhD—who thrives on translating complex technical knowledge into practical, real-world solutions. You’ll play a key role in supporting and promoting cutting-edge systems across Europe, working closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams.

?? Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert for advanced laboratory systems across Europe.
  • Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and internal sales teams.
  • Lead product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical seminars.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product management to relay customer feedback and support product development.
  • Create technical content including application notes, white papers, and marketing materials.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
�? Required Skills & Qualifications
  • PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Sciences, or a related field (Master’s with significant experience also considered).
  • Hands-on experience with vacuum concentrators, rotary evaporators, or similar lab instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

  • Experience in technical sales or customer-facing scientific roles.
  • Familiarity with sample preparation workflows in pharma, biotech, or academic research.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional international team.
