The BusinessWe’re working with a well-established, market leading business based in northwest in search of an account payable assistant. On a growth trajectory the business is looking for a dynamic AP clerk to join a fast-growing finance team. The roleThis is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing expenses, supporting month-end close, and maintaining financial accuracy across our accounts payable and cash processes.Duties include:
  • Process incoming supplier invoices, ensuring accurate matching to POs
  • Set up new supplier accounts and payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Manage employee expense claims
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all business accounts
  • Support cash flow reporting and payment planning
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations at month end
  • Assist in internal and external audits
Person
  • Studying towards a finance qualification – AAT
  • Previous experience in accounts payable
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation and excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
