The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in ALN settings, particularly those with complex special educational needs, and disabilities. Responsibilities:* Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons to meet the needs of individual students.* Provide one-on-one support and tutoring for students who have ALN* Promote a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation and engagement.* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to share progress updates and address any concerns.* Help maintain a safe, organised, and conducive classroom environment.* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills in mentoring and supporting children.Requirements:* Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential, however, if you have experience in a support-based role within a residential setting or have a family member that you have supported with a disability or an ENC, we encourage you to apply. * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.* Experience or training in special education or working with students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.* A passion for supporting young learners with ALN and fostering their academic and personal growth.* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.SWTA
