Accountabilities

  • Continuously improve the model and data systems and analytics to better support client investment advice and day-to-day asset liability management.
  • Engage in IT systems and agile change projects that impact the team and related key business areas. Work closely with IT to understand the company’s wider modelling, data infrastructure and change management processes, and leverage a close working relationship to support the team
  • Collaborate with associated teams (e.g. Fiduciary Clients, Client Portfolio Management, Investment IT) to ensure new ALM processes are implemented in the most effective way.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the ALM team to perform quantitative analysis, including contributions to ALM Forum research and client investment strategy advice.
  • Support the development and improvement of research analytics across key areas like portfolio construction and capital market assumptions.
  • Collaborate with the broader Fiduciary Management team to help translate prototype models and code as they transition to production. Be part of the team responsible for the ongoing build-out of a market leading quant Fiduciary Management platform.

What we are looking for

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Git/version control, API, SQL for financial modelling and data management.
  • Genuine interest in statistics and a willingness to learn and apply statistical techniques.
  • Good organizational skills with an emphasis on accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Enthusiasm for research and the ability to contribute to research projects.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A purpose-driven attitude and a desire to support the organization's mission.

The role sits in the Asset Liability Modelling and Research Analytics (ALM) team within Fiduciary Management (FM). It is a permanent role based in the London office with hybrid working options.
