Role: Social Worker - Adults

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Harrow, Middlesex

Salary: £41,097 - £49,119 per annum

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to provide a high quality and effective social work service, which responds to the needs of people with lived experiences with care and support needs, their informal carers and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014 and reflects a strengths-based approach.

The successful applicant will have:

• Must hold a qualification in Social Work
• Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
• Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience. (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
• Knowledge of social work models and interventions, including strengths-based practice models (Desirable).
• Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).
