A leading education establishment are currently looking for an Admissions Administrator to manage with admissions as part of a friendly team. The Admissions Administrator includes dealing with new admissions processes along with all general administrative functions.
- Hourly rate: £17.50 P/H
- Full or part time hours available | Temp/ongoing role
- Immediate start - term time only
- Enhanced DBS required
Admissions Administrator responsibilities:
- Dealing with student admissions to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient admissions service
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with requirements, ensuring compliance and maintenance of relevant systems
- Ensuring accurate input of applicant related data and correction of applicant exception reports using the student management
- Dealing with all internal and external queries concerning the progress and status of an application
- Processing applications, verifying qualifications, the validity of decisions and authenticity of results in line with the admissions/compliance policy
- Completing necessary documentation, including any referrals to external agencies
- Providing general administrative support including photocopying, filing, and completing standard forms
- Sorting and distributing mail
Admissions Administrator required skills/competencies:
- Experience working within a HE/educational setting desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in IT systems including good working knowledge of Excel
