Job Description :

Reed Talent Solutions are working with United-Utilities on the search for an administrator to provide general administrative support to teams, projects and work groups within Environmental Services. This includes preparing documents, supporting with administrative tasks, workshops and managing office requirements. This may include updating corporate systems, spreadsheets and databases.

Role details:

  • Job title: Business Administrator
  • Location: Haweswater, Lingley Mere Business Park, Lingley Green Avenue,Great Sankey,WA5 3LP
  • Contract: 12 months
  • Hourly pay rate: £14.95 PAYE
  • Working hours: Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Application Process: Initial telephone discussion with Reed Talent Solutions and face-to-face interview with hiring manager.

What you'll need to be successful in the role?

  • To prepare documents using various Microsoft packages for team members (reports, typing up minutes/ outputs from workshops, producing presentations etc)
  • Arrange and support meetings/conferences (both internal/external) on behalf of others including room bookings, managing delegates, producing material etc
  • Maintain electronic filing system and internal records
  • Support individual projects with administrative duties on an ad-hoc basis
  • Liaise with other internal departments when necessary
  • Basic care of office equipment and ensuring supplies are readily available

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Proven administrative background
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Customer focused and service driven
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
