Administrator 

  • Location: Ipswich and office-based
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30

Join a well-established company with over 30 years of experience within their field who are looking for an Administrator to support their supervisor. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional administrative support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and maintain the database, ensuring vendor and client content is regularly updated and accurate.
  • Action tasks related to database and content management efficiently.
  • Conduct online research to support departmental needs and decision-making.
  • Generate and quality-check management reports.
  • Coordinate supplier activity including scheduling, communication, attendance, and follow-up.
  • Provide general departmental administrative support as needed.
  • Plan and manage own workload while supporting colleagues where possible.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes.
  • Accurately record and relay telephone messages.
  • Participate in developmental activities, including up to two residential weekends per year.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other relevant programs.
  • Previous administration experience preferred but not essential.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to plan and anticipate needs.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach and willingness to support others.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and demonstrates a can-do attitude.
  • Personable and emotionally intelligent, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Passionate and driven to succeed.
