Location: Devizes, Wiltshire

Salary: From £13 per hour, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (30-35 hours per week)

About us:

Renelec Building Services, an electrical contracting division of the Renelec Group, has a rich history in Devizes dating back to the 1950s. Over the years since then we have grown steadily to a size capable of executing major contracts in the industrial, commercial, and housing sectors.

As an electrical contractor, we take great pride in the quality of our work, after-sales service, and are committed to training apprentices. We are members of industry organizations including NICEIC, ECA, JIB, Constructionline, and Safe Contractor.

About the role:

As an Administrator, you will be a key part of our busy team, providing crucial support to our contracts department and management. This role involves a wide variety of duties and is essential to the smooth running of our office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general office support, including managing correspondence and phone calls
  • Data processing and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the contracts team with project documentation and administrative tasks
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and external partners
  • Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments

About you:

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual with a positive, can-do approach, who's both comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A positive "can-do" approach and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is desirable
