Job Description :

Adecco are delighted to be supporting their Newbury based client in recruiting for an Administrator to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and monitoring storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders
  • Overseeing stock control, including reeling and cutting materials to size
  • Responding to customer communications via email and phone
  • Keeping stock records up to date and reporting regularly
  • Invoicing once goods are dispatched
  • Arranging courier shipments and sourcing competitive rates
  • Handling customer queries promptly and professionally
  • Maintaining compliance with internal procedures
  • Supporting the team during audits
  • Contributing to warehouse security alongside colleagues
  • Reporting on orders, revenue, and stock levels to management

What You'll Need

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a small, collaborative team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to identify and help resolve basic internal or supplier-related issues
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn systems such as Sage 200
  • A full UK driving licence would be an advantage

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch)
  • Friday: 08:30 - 16:00

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £25,000 per annum
  • Benefits after completing a 6-month probation period:
    • 4% employer pension contribution
    • Private medical cover (individual - BUPA)
    • Life assurance (5x salary)
