Administrator

  • Working Hours: 07.30-17.00 Monday to Friday

This role is crucial in providing administrative support to the HR department and site teams, ensuring compliance and facilitating smooth operations at their project site. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Visa Submissions: Liaise with overseas group companies and their employees to gather necessary documents for visa applications. Coordinate with immigration advisors to complete the visa process.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Ensure all employees comply with legislation, conducting regular checks and liaising with immigration agencies and the Home Office.
  • Security Vetting: Manage the vetting process for employees and agency workers, including verifying ID documents and facilitating academic vetting and qualification conversion checks.
  • Competency Requirements: Assist overseas employees in obtaining construction industry competency cards, including booking tests and managing applications.
  • Inductions: Coordinate with site teams to schedule inductions for all new site visitors.
  • Meeting and Greeting: Serve as the first point of contact for site visitors, assisting with integration and coordination of necessary appointments and equipment.
  • Integration: Support the HR department in the ongoing integration and support for all employees, including those from overseas.
  • Administration: Handle office administration duties, manage telephone contacts and enquiries, and compose and issue communications to employees.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administration and data entry.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels.
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills, able to manage a fast-paced support service.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Resilient, positive, and confident approach.
  • French language skills are desirable.
