Job Description :
Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our client’s administration team based at their Felixstowe site. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity (following a successful 12-week probation period), offering long-term stability within a fast-paced logistics environment. The role supports both administrative and Health & Safety functions, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.Working Hours:Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMTuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMTotal: 37.5 hours per weekThis is a fully office-based role, with on-site parking available.Key Responsibilities:Generate and issue customer invoices and credit notes in line with service agreementsRaise and receipt purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processingLiaise with clients, suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departmentsProduce and maintain monthly KPI reports, including cost tracking and recharge dataAssist in internal and external audit preparations and provide proof of chargesOrder and manage office supplies, uniforms, and consumables through third-party systemsMaintain training records, personnel files, and agency worker documentationHandle supplier and client queries professionally via phone and emailEnsure GDPR compliance when managing sensitive dataUpdate and maintain site noticeboards and documentationSupport general administrative duties and assist with project-based tasks as neededDesirable (but not essential) Additional Duties:Monitor servicing schedules and statutory inspections for warehouse equipmentMaintain MHE (Material Handling Equipment) compliance and usage logsSupport facilities management and H\&S compliance trackingOversee fleet access and training compliance through internal systemsSkills:Previous administrative experience in fast-paced environment Strong multitasking and organisation Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Confident written and verbal communication across all levels Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with financial systems (IFS or similar) and warehouse systems (Red Prairie) is advantageous Qualifications:Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C or equivalent) Training in supervisory skills, food hygiene or Health & Safety would be an advantage Keywords:Administration Accounts Logistics
