  • Hours of work: Contractually 9:00 am to 5:30pm
  • Salary: £23,000 rising to £24,000 after Probation period

Job Summary:

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our client as a General Administrator.

This position does not require any experience, as full training will be provided. The General Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including managing correspondence, drafting and editing documents, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Printing and forwarding emailed documentation, assist with client intake and on boarding processes, including scheduling appointments, collecting necessary information, and preparing client files.
  • Manage the practice's calendar by scheduling meetings, court appearances, and other important events.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain and update the practice's database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices and track payments
  • Perform general office duties and maintaining a clean and organised work space.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
