Job Description :

So, you’re looking for a new job in business administration? How about an exciting role working on a military estate in support of our Army customers? You’ll get to support the delivery of one-of-a-kind projects. Join a great team at Aspire Defence Services…

As a Project Delivery Administrator, you will provide professional administrative support to the Project Delivery Team, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects.

You will input and maintain accurate and effective information in project databases/IT systems and assist Project Managers in the process of delivering projects from planning to completion, including producing standard reports and analyses to support the management function, making sure projects are handed over and progress is tracked, and following up subsequent processes in line with company procedures on IFS.

You will also liaise with outside agencies/external stakeholders as required to assist in the co-ordination of access and /or programming of works. And in addition, you will prepare and maintain financial reports for review within the team, producing documentation such as standard letters, reports etc in line with ADSL’s processes and standards, and where appropriate, assist with responses to enquires/correspondence.

You will have the opportunity to develop the role supporting the production of planning documentation and purchase orders for the delivery of minor new works projects.

You’ll be part of a great team, with a supportive manager, which means you’ll need to be able to work effectively with others and maintain constructive relationships within the team, across the business and externally.

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience of office administration work; preferably in a project environment, comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes particularly Excel Spreadsheets, and excellent organisation and communication skills (both written and spoken), amongst other essential skills. Experience of Aspire’s IFS system would be advantageous, but training can be provided.

But first, meet the team…

With a 35-year contract, making soldiers’ lives better is at the heart of everything we do at Aspire Defence Services.

Seriously, picture a heart (the real one) and imagine how hard it works to keep the body running, making sure every part gets exactly what it needs to thrive. That’s our mission; to deliver a modern, fully serviced, flexible working environment for soldiers.

And just as the heart needs certain parts to keep the body alive, we need the dedication and commitment of our people to support our customers. We deliver a broad range of services for one-third of the British Army living and working on our patch, and we're proud of the work we do.

We’re all about nurturing great teams, and our award-winning safety and wellbeing initiatives are built on keeping an eye out for one another and having a good work-life balance.

In addition to being part of our team, you’ll also get…

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%, plus individual life assurance
  • A shopping discounts scheme
  • Employee assistance and health and wellbeing check ins
