The roleAs an Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We wish to appoint an Administrator who will be responsible for perfoming all general administrative tasks and ensuring compliance in accordance with the Statement of Requirement

Day to day, you'll be responsible for maintaining an effective system for document filing, mail distribution, office machinery management, and security of all soft and hard copy documentation in accordance with MOD policies and procedures, as well as:

  • Assist the PA to the Station Commander (Stn Cdr) for day-to-day business and deputise for periods of leave and absence
  • Ensure tasks are prioritised to replicate Stn Cdr's Priorities.
  • Collate names for Station Arrivals Brief and then give printed list to the SWO prior to the event.
  • Record Training completed by Station Personnel, put on excel spreadsheet and liaise with Information Manager.
  • Maintain the Annual Reception list of invitees onto a spreadsheet in readiness for the event.
  • Support the admin duties in collation of Stn Duty Rotas, sending out reminders to the Building Custodians prior to the Stn Cdr's inspections and maintain the register for all Station generated Admin orders which are then filed online.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Wyton.

Essential experience of the Administrator

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisational skills and able to priorities workload
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels, including military personnel.

Qualifications for the Administrator

  • 2 GCSE passes Grade C or above or recognised equivalent including English Language

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
