Main Areas of Responsibility

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Sending out letters and texts to parents/carers
  • Supervising students in detention when necessary
  • Sending out reminders to staff who are covering detentions and arranging cover if and when necessary
  • Meeting regularly with the member of SLT responsible for Behaviour and PFCO
  • Managing all aspects of the Behaviour Module in Bromcom, including producing reports and analysis
  • Dealing with enquiries from parents/carers and staff in relation to the detention and behaviour system
  • Preparing reports as required for reward analysis
  • Assisting in the preparation of rewards assemblies as required
  • Processing and administration of internal, fixed term and permanent exclusions
  • Administrative work for the SLT responsible for Behaviour and the Senior PFCO
  • Assisting SLT and PFCO in contacting parents regarding behavioural and pastoral issues
  • Managing data input on behaviour including managing the Triage data system and tutor information
  • Managing student files as required
What We are Looking For

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Qualifications to GCSE Grade C or above
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Knowledge of Bromcom system for input and export of student data for students
  • Knowledge of the range of agencies that work with students and their families
  • Training in child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Basic knowledge of first aid
  • Knowledge of many of the social issues facing students from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
