Job Title: Student Experience & Admin CoordinatorLocation: Peterborough. PE2Employment Type: Part time, two days a week Monday & Tuesday 8.30pm-4.30pm with the possibility of more hours to cover holiday, sickness and also for the owner to start winding down.
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive individual to join our client's team at their Driving Intensive Course Centre. This role is pivotal in ensuring students feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their course experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for students, guiding them through their initial induction and managing essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Onboarding & Support:
- Meet and greet students upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Assist students with check-in procedures and help them get settled.
- Deliver introductory presentations to students, outlining course structure, expectations and key information.
- Be available to answer student queries and provide ongoing support throughout their stay.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate student records and update internal systems.
- Prepare and distribute course materials and documentation.
- Coordinate schedules and liaise with instructors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle email and phone communications professionally and promptly.
- Assist with booking accommodations, test appointments, and other logistics as needed.
Centre Operations:
- Ensure communal areas and classrooms are tidy and well-prepared for each day.
- Monitor attendance and report any issues to the relevant team members.
- Support the team with general office duties and contribute to a positive working environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Confident presenting to small groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general admin systems.
- Previous experience in customer service, education, or administration is desirable.
