A long established, full-service law firm in Liverpool city centre has a new opening for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join the dedicated Actions Against the Police department.

The specialist team has a strong reputation in the local market for its Actions Against the Police offering and due the an influx of new work, is seeking to expand the existing team.

The team deals with an array of claims against policing authorities including wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, unlawful detention, human rights breaches, and more. The team also manages Civil Liberty cases and you will be given the chance to act on a range of issues alongside your core Police work. You will be given responsibility for your own caseload which you'll be expected to manage from instruction through to completion.

You will be a qualified Solicitor (1-5 years’ PQE+, or NQs with a diverse background), with previous experience dealing with litigation claims until conclusion - as the bulk of your caseload will be litigated.
