Accounts Support Apprentice - QA Ltd : Job Details

Working out of their new office within Glasgow, you will be a key team player as part of a team of 7, working in the finance department. Six Company had one restaurant in 2017, they now have 16 restaurants in 4 separate countries!  This is a great time to join the business as they implement these plans, continuing to expand into 2024 and beyond.

The organisation are no strangers to all things apprentices, as proven in the past, they have a rich history of developing apprentices with QA and progressing them within their professional career.

Key responsibilities: 

• You will be trained on all things systems to become a super user enabling you to support the wider organisation
• Processing supplier invoices through our finance systems (Hubdoc and Xero)
• Helping implement/optimize the new Procure to Pay system (Zonal Acquire)
• Acting as first response in dealing with supplier queries in a professional and courteous manner both digitally via email and via phone
• Analyse accounts data and creating Excel reports to support with management
• Working collaboratively and problem solving in responding to enquiries using Google sheets/documents along with securely using Google shared drive for internal files to be stored
• Assisting in weekly payment runs – collaborative working with management and other parts of the business in making sure payments are up to date

Salary:

£13,312 - £17,888 per annum

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Future prospects:

You will complete your apprenticeship with QA on your first year at the company. There will be opportunities to gain a full-time role and become a valued member of a Finance team. There will be salary reviews and lots more responsibility for the successful candidate to gain over time with an employer who will develop them in to a professional in this field, through on the job and related training courses.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
